Juana and Kino... Destroyed?

I think that Kino and Juana might be destroyed by the pearl because at the moment, the pearl is mostly what Kino is concerned about. Juana might feel sad and mad at the same time that Kino is all concerned about this pearl and she wishes that Kino had never found the pearl he did. What might happen is that Kino will get so overwhelmed with the pearl and the people that he might just move away without telling anyone, not even Juana, so that no one can steal the pearl.
